The extension automates the ChatGPT web interface using your own signed-in session. Whether that is appropriate for your ChatGPT account is your decision, and OpenAI's terms govern it, not these.
What this covers
This agreement is between you and the developer of StoryRoom Queue for ChatGPT ("the extension", "we"). It applies to the extension itself, however you obtained it, and to this website.
The extension is provided free of charge. There is no fee, no subscription, no account, and no support commitment.
Not an OpenAI product
The extension is unofficial. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to OpenAI. "ChatGPT" is a trademark of OpenAI and is used here only to describe what the extension works with. "Google Chrome" is a trademark of Google LLC.
The extension does not provide ChatGPT, does not resell access to it, and does not include an API key. You bring your own ChatGPT session, in your own browser.
Your licence to use it
You get a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to install and use the extension for your own purposes. Where the source code is published, the licence stated in that repository governs the code itself and takes precedence over this section for anything it covers.
Unless a published source licence allows it, you may not:
- redistribute the extension as your own product, or under another name;
- sell, rent or sublicense it;
- remove or alter the attribution, the non-affiliation notice, or the privacy policy link in any copy you pass on.
Your responsibilities
- Your ChatGPT account. You are responsible for complying with OpenAI's terms of use, including any restriction on automated or programmatic access to the service. Using the extension may put your account at risk of restriction, and that risk is yours.
- Your content. You are responsible for the text and prompts you queue, for having the right to process them, and for anything you do with the results.
- Reviewing the output. The extension checks that a reply is structurally consistent with the chunk that asked for it. It does not judge whether a correction is linguistically or factually right. Check the final text before you rely on it.
- Lawful use. Do not use the extension to break the law, to infringe anyone's rights, or to process material you are not entitled to process.
Your files and results
Your project files and accepted results stay on your own computer, in Chrome's local extension storage. We do not receive them, cannot read them, and claim no rights over them. The privacy policy sets out exactly what is handled and where it is kept.
Because the data lives only in your browser profile, it can be lost by clearing the queue, removing the extension, resetting the browser profile, or losing the machine. Keep your own copies of anything you need. Export the results.
No warranty
The extension is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranty of any kind, whether express or implied, including any implied warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
We do not warrant that the extension will work without interruption, that it will keep working after a change to the ChatGPT website or to Chrome, that a queued run will complete, or that a result will be correct.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, or for lost data, lost work, lost profits, or any restriction or suspension applied to your ChatGPT account, arising out of the use of or inability to use the extension.
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, such as liability for fraud, or for death or personal injury caused by negligence.
Availability and updates
The extension may be changed, updated or discontinued at any time, without notice. Features may be added or removed. There is no commitment to fix a given problem, to respond within a given time, or to keep any version working.
Ending the agreement
You can end it at any time by removing the extension from your browser. Removal deletes the extension's local storage, including the queue and any stored results. The licence in these terms ends if you breach them.
Changes to these terms
These terms may be updated. The date at the top will change with them, and the current version will be published at this address. Continuing to use the extension after a change means you accept the updated terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Viet Nam, and the courts of Viet Nam have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them. If you use the extension somewhere else, any mandatory consumer protection your own law gives you still applies.
